One minute cooking time and your hot, excellent oatmeal breakfast is ready. Excellent for your health!
Pinch of salt
1/3 cup [80 mL] quick-cooking rolled oats
2/3 cup [160 mL] hot tap water
Sugar [white or brown]
1 soup bowl or a 2-cup [500-mL] measuring cup
In soup bowl or measuring cup, mix together salt and rolled oats.
Pour in hot water.
Microwave on 'HIGH' for 1 minute to 1 minute 15 seconds.
Stir and sweeten to taste, preferably with approximately 1/2 to 1 teaspoon [2.5 to 5 mL] brown sugar [dark brown sugar being the best...].
