Beer Cheese Spread and Dip
Comments: Excellent spread on crackers, or serve as a dip along with raw really fresh mixed vegetable pieces.
Servings: 1 1/2 cups [375 mL]
  • 8 ounces [227 g] sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup [115 g] butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] beer, at room temperature
  • Into a mixing bowl, cream together sharp Cheddar cheese, softened butter and garlic powder until well blended.
  • Slowly beat in beer, until smooth.
  • Keep refrigerated.
  • Leave mixture to stand at room temperature for 1 hour before serving.
