Basic Creamy Vegetable Soup

Comments: This soup, ready in no time, is excellent made with any desired vegetable or mixed vegetables, keeping in mind that broccoli is a tasty choice.

  • 1 cup [250 mL] milk
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] cream, or more milk
  • 1 cup [250 mL] chicken broth, made from concentrate or not
  • 3 tablespoons [45 g] butter
  • 2 tablespoons [17.5 g] flour
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] pepper
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup [250 mL] any desired boiled fresh vegetable dices
  • Into a blender, mix together all the ingredients until smooth.
  • Pour into a casserole.
  • Heat soup over low heat for approximatelety 5 minutes, until hot, before serving.
