Cream of Tomato Soup

  • 2 cups [500 mL] milk
  • 2 1/2 cups [625 mL] canned tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons [17.5 g] flour
  • 1 tablespoon [15 g] sugar
  • 1 thin slice onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon [0.5 mL] pepper
  • 2 tablespons [30 g] butter
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] salt
  • Pinch garlic salt
  • Heat milk.
  • Puree together all remaining ingredients into a blender, at high speed.
  • Slowly pour mixture into hot milk, beating.
  • Reheat over low heat [do not boil].
  • Serve.
