- 1 cantaloupe
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] orange juice
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] sour cream or buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] freshly chopped ginger
- Half and seed cantaloupe.
- Remove meat with a spoon.
- Puree cantaloupe meat into a blender or a food processor.
- Pour into a serving bowl.
- Stir in orange juice, sour cream or buttermilk and chopped ginger.
- Mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Serve, really cold.
