Baked Dutch Pancake [Pannekokan]
Comments: Serve topped with butter and powdered sugar or cinnamon apple pie filling, or fresh fruits and whipped cream.

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup [140 g] flour
  • 1 cup [250 mL] milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons [45 to 60 g] butter
  • Preheat oven to 400F [200C].
  • Well beat together eggs, flour, milk and salt.
  • Melt butter over the bottom of 9 x13-inch [23 x 33cm] pan or a large iron skillet until it sizzles.
  • Pour batter on top of melted butter.
  • Bake into preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until light brown and puffed.
  • Serve immediately.
