  • 2 cans apple pie filling
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] honey
  • 1/2 cup [115 g] butter or margarine
  • Pork sausages or bacon slices
  • 12 waffles
  • Combine apple filling, honey and butter or margarine.
  • Heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Cook sausages until no longer pink inside, bacon slices until crisp.
  • To serve, reheat waffles.
  • Spoon apple filling mixture over half of waffles.
  • Top with remaining waffles, then with sausages or bacon slices.
