Sweet Waffles

  • 2 cups [280 g] flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon [15 g] sugar
  • 1 cup [250 mL] milk
  • 1 cup [250 mL] cream [35% m.s.g.]
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 teaspoons [20 g] melted butter
  • Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.
  • In a bowl, beat together milk, cream, eggs and melted butter, until foamy.
  • Slowly mix liquid ingredients into sifted dry ingredients, until thick.
  • Cook waffles in a hot, well greased waffle iron.
