- 8 egg yolks
- 6 cups [1.5 L] milk
- 6 cups [840 g] flour
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] salt
- 3 tablespoons [45 mL] baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] oil
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] vanilla
- 8 egg whites, beaten until firm
- Maple syrup
- In a large bowl, beat egg yolks; mix in milk, flour, salt and baking powder.
- Pour in oil and vanilla.
- With a spatula, fold in beaten egg whites.
- Cook waffles in a hot waffle iron.
- Serve with maple syrup.
