  • 1 cup [250 mL] plug flour
  • 2 cups [280 g] all-purpose flour
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons [5 to 10 mL] baking powder
  • Cold water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] hot water
  • Mix together flours, baking powder and salt; pour in enough cold water to get a pancake-like dough.
  • Make a well in the centre, pour in baking soda, already mixed with hot water.
  • Mix well; cook as you would pancakes.
